Dairy Cottage in Brookville

The best chicken I've gotten anywhere. Cooked to order. Comes out so hot,you have to wait to dig in....( greatly appreciate getting hot food from somewhere)...lets not forget about the perfect chocolate shake.....not too sweet...love it!

First time experience here. Ice cream was delicious. Several flavors to choose from. Service was fairly fast for a Sunday night. Probably will visit again soon !! 👌

When I was a kid they had the best chicken for years! Now everytime I'm thinking it will be better this time! Boy was I wrong again! My chicken was very over cooked, you could break a window with it, and no seasoning no pepper at all!! They go down hill by the minute!! Personally I think they should close the doors cause there food SUCKS!!!!!

I just went to Dairy Cottage for the 1st time. Amazing food service was ok. If service was better I would rate a 5.

Absolutely love this place!!! Always go after going kayaking and never disappointed. Great prices with delicious food. Jojos are fantastic! Drive thru is always backed up but they move quickly to get your food out. Never a bad experience.

The raspberry sherbet and hot fudge milkshake are the bomb!

The footlong cheese Coney is a great escape from our normal 2 chili places in Cincinnati. I will definitely have it upon return and their dessert menu is amazing. Their price point is spot-on and I cannot wait to try the chicken. At a small restaurant like this I would expect a much different type of burger instead of what seems to be a factory made burger patty. More outside seating is a must if it is possible with the space around this location. Overall a great destination when traveling through or to Brookville.

The food here is 9 out of 10 times great! Usually the people at the window are ok, sometimes great and then you have those ones who no matter what just don't have the customer service thing. But good food and for most part good service

Discovered on a late drive home through the country. Went through the drive-thru & had a great meal with their chicken breast sandwich, jojo fries & slaw. All delicious!!

Quickly made order of Fresh chicken, hot potato wedges. Not a whole lot of sides to choose from. Simple, clean eat-in. Next time we'll use drive thru. Close to brookville lake.

In June Of 2015 5 Years Ago Dairy Cottage Until By 2020

My husband and I stopped by to eat on 1/5/2020. We had been here once before a couple of summers ago, and we were impressed with the food then and wanted to try them again. I got chicken tenders and the breading on the chicken was seasoned so well! We finished our visit with some grape milkshakes.

Small town Brookville's place to go! A local favorite with the best fried chicken you'll ever eat!

On the 4th if July it was crowded. Ice cream and cottage fries were delicious! We even got water for our dog Walter😷❤😷

Small portions... 6 mushrooms. And too many chicken backs in order..mushy cold Joe Joes...

Great little place near Brookville Lake. Try the fried chicken and JoJos! Everything we have ever ordered has been pretty good and is reasonably priced. They get really crowded in the summer so prepare to wait in line. Oh....and get a butterscotch milkshake.....so so good!!

The best place to eat in the area.

This place had very good chicken and the onion rings were too notch. We also tried the pizza burger, I definitely won't be trying that again, but it wasn't terrible. I would be glad to visit there again.

We were not impressed with the food. We had 2 mushroom steak hoagies and 1 medium Pepsi and paid over $14.00. If you like Dairy Queen you may like this place. There was a continual line of people waiting to order the entire time we were there and the same for the drive thru service. We did notice many people were there just for the soft serve ice cream.

Good food great prices

Dairy Cottage was a great place to stop for lunch. It's cute and quaint, and had the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. The prices were super reasonable, loved the sweet coleslaw, and the wonderful homemade raspberry shorbet was a great end to my meal.

The Dairy Cottage is my all time favorite place to get ice cream but that's not the only thing to get here. The menu here is extensive and just about everything is great. They're also known for their fried chicken and burgers. If you're looking for a quick bite or tasty treat then swing through the Dairy Cottage it's a town staple and I always love getting it. From fried chicken livers to Coney dogs and milk shakes this place has it all and it's all good.

Drive thur is slow but the food is worth it

Not the best food.... Certainly not the worst. Penut Butter shakes are awesome. Not fond of slaw.... too tangy or something. My biggest complaint is they will bot substitute a $0.40 roll for a $1 slaw.

I visited there this past Sunday the 26th I think the food was great but none of the employees had masks or gloves kind of a little scary don't know why that would have been such a hard thing.
